... anywhere around Morristown, Morris Plains, Parssipany etc. I'm open to all suggestions
Taking a lady out so something a little nicer than the hole in the wall would be nice.
TIA!

The place is beautiful.. I swear they must have put a couple million dollars into this place... They even have "chabudai" style dinning..(low table, sitting on floor in socks)..lol
Try It!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.yutakanj.com">http://www.yutakanj.com</a</li></ul>

If you like a more traditional style restaurant, Nagano is right across from the Famished Frog. I like it a lot. Not too expensive, nice selection, good ambience. They have rooms on the third floor (the restaurant is on the second floor up a flight of stairs) where you can have a more private dinner, I'm sure you could arrange something. BYOB.
If you're looking for a more 'modern' take on sushi, Sushi Lounge is good as well. It's around the corner from the Frog. Some more 'fusion' dishes, they do serve alcohol (bunch of sake selections on the menu), and a lot more expensive. I can't remember if they do reservations but when I've gone I didn't make any, so there ends up being a 30+ minute wait on Friday/Saturday. You can sit at the small bar if there's space or walk over to the Frog.
You can also go to Asahi, I like it (next to the Empanada place by George and Martha's) but it's not as much of a 'date' environment. Not as traditional a style as Nagano or as 'hip' as Sushi Lounge. Food's fine though. They have some interesting big combination rolls, which end up being a lot heftier than you might expect from the menu.
I've been to Nikko on Route 10 about a mile east of 287 once. I can't remember if that's East Hanover yet. Nice enough, would go again if I was in the area.
By the way, go Eagles!
