Bilstein R-2000 engine flush system, anyone know of one in CT?
Preferably southern CT, but even a state away i suppose would be ok. With the 1.8T being a sludge engine i figure its worth the 100-130$ to have this procedure done, it back flushes the system at 43 psi or so, and uses a vaccum connected to the oil pan to remove particles as small as 3 microns, along with varnish and other "crap"
If anyone knows where one is located itd be greatly appreciated.

And will they guarantee against any failure of your engine?
That's all you need is for some loose sludge to be missed by the vacuum and clog the oil feed line or fitting to the turbo.

The only place I know..
is the Infiniti dealership I worked at on Long Island. You might try Rennwerke in elmsford, NY (about 10mins from Greenwich, Ct.) They are a independent Porsche facility.
The flush machine does work well but you can always do a flush using ATF.

If you have used synthetic on normal intervals you should have no problems
Most of the problems come from people going 10K plus on dino oil instead of synthetic.
Take off your oil fill cap and take a peek inside. There will be a black plastic splash shield over the cam but if you try too look around it at the actual head you should see the metal.. If its silver to a goldish color I wouldn't worry too much about it.. If its brown then I"d stay far away from a flush. Make sure you are using a good synthetic and I'd go to shorter intervals and hope that the synthetic oil on short invervals slowly cleans out any sludge you have little by little instead of forcing it clean and risking large pieces getting stuff.
As much as they'd like to tell you they can get a good vacum from the drain plug its very very difficult and even if they do doesn't mean that stuff freed up in the head will make it to the oil pan right then to get removed..

I bought the car with 76k and.....
despite having an oil chnage the day i picked it up i changed to mobil 1 synthetic the day i got it.
i also do a flush with dino oil every time i chhange the oil, sometimes i do it twice, and i run the huge napa 1333 oil filter, im probably pulling the pan this winter and replacing pump and pickup, just because im paranoid.
I want this car to run pretty much forever, well not forever one day ill tear it down and do all forged internals and a gigantic turbo (prob sticking with dahlback)

Just check the head like I mentioned
If thats clean then the pump and pick up will be fine (well could have other problems but sludge not being likely).. I"ve been out of a dealer for a while now and did mostly MIL/electrical stuff not really any oil pressure problem cars but very few cars from what I saw actually had any problems with teh pump or pick up.. Most had clogged oil passages in the head which would end up locking the cam up.. Almost every test I saw of pumps and the pressure they were putting out (just helping other techs verify readings) exactly what they should be.. They'd pull the pan on a passat (VW dealer) and everything would look fine.. but the head would be ticking away not getting oil to lifters..

Pull the valve cover and post up some pics.. thats like an hour vs
several hours of dropping the subframe and oil pan... as I said haven't personaly seen any with oil pump problems.. doesn't mean it doesn't and wont' happen but thats usually not the problem area.
