Can anyone chime in about how strict CT is with their 35% window tint limit? I want to go darker :)

I was up at Mansfield State Park up near UConn. I pulled in, parked my car, and starting walking away. Then, out of no where (he was in an expedition so I didn't really notice him), I had some state cop ask me if I had a tint sticker. I told him I thought 35% was legal, but he said you cannot have any tint at all in the front unless you have a tint sticker stating that you have an eye or skin condition. He even wrote down the statute on the warning... I'll have to dig it up at some point. Pretty weak if you ask me.

thats IF you know one thats willing to write you a note (which states you are photophobic) that you bring to the DMV and they allow dark tint.

If you want to stay legal in CT, you can't put 35% on your ps/ds windows because the windows come from the factory with a slight tint. The combination becomes illegal.
On my Avant I have 55% in front and 35% the rest of the way around. I haven't had my tints too long, but I've never had a problem.
