preventive maintenance or a stage III upgrade?

one cvjoint and two boots...at 60k should my boots be failing? Check engine just came on too

CV boots are known to wear out, not surprsing, CEL could be anything.

Only place I know is about an hour away, so others will chime in with their recommendations.
