Default i had a torn ligament in my right knee...had a sports doc in NJ check it out on a MRI...

and confirmed it. thought my cycling days were shot for the season (last year). they wanted to operated on my knee. i started taking glucosamine after a dentist friend recommended it. took a double dose for about 3 months (3,000mg) and cut it down after that to 1,500mg a day. pain is completely gone...still cycling about 70-100 miles a week, no problems.

worth a try. takes a few months for the absorption into the body.

Default Muscle or ligament dependant

probably got the muscles to keep things in order. If your ligament is torn, nothing will help.

If stretched, eventually you'll need an arthroscopic clean-up...

Good luck....

Default MRI shows torn ligament...so muscles probably helping out...arthroscopic was an option

and since no real pain or side effects...i'll probably just take glucosamine.
