Default As far as sales, they are okay, but serice..that's a whole different story..

...would you be having it serviced by them, or a dealer in VA?

Default The skinny on DCH....

Count your fingers when you shake hands.. and whipe the slime off as well.

This is subject to how you bargain and who you bargain with. Not all the sales people are the same.

DCH as a corporate mega line owner has had many problems in NJ. Not at the Audi Shop, but probably at every other shop around. There have been fraud and class action suits issued all over their other dealerships.

This is a sign of overall management and how they run their empire. While they have been and Audi dealer for some time, they just opened their new Audi sales and service facility. Its state of the art. A lot of money has been put into it.

If it were me, I'd be researching the hell out of this car with AoA via the VIN and any other source available. Give the VIN to your local servicing dealer and have the history checked out..original owner, how DCH got the car, etc.

Then make your deal with and without CPO coverage provided by DCH. See if your Servicing dealer will cut you a good deal on the Audi Assured Extended or CPO program, you may come out ahead.

You could also contact Dion at KMD Tuning. (201) 664-4563. Both he and Danny worked at DCH (DION most recently), they are big Audi World supporters as they derive a lot of their business from this forum. Ask them if they would be good enough to make a call to their "freinds" at the dealership and get the lowdown on the car.

They may also..for a slight fee...inspect the car for you wich can help imensly with teh CPO status..ie.. things tha need tending to prior to sale.

Just my .03

Good Luck

Default My brother used to work there

and he doesn't anymore, couldn't stand the manager of the service dept. Though I heard he's gone now....

As for sales, a friend of mine bought his '05 GTI 1.8T there because they gave him the best price. He certainly doesn't have it serviced there though....

Default I used to work for them...

in sales and finance. I know most of the people in the sales department. The experience that you have all depends on who your sales person is. I could tell you that the car that your looking at was acquired from one of DCH's sister dealerships.

Default DCH is a garbage dump no matter what.

They can add on and make that dump look better but once a dump, always a dump!
