Good Shops On LI?
I just purchased a 2001 S4 from Audi of Smithtown and was wondering what shops are good in the western suffolk/eastern nassau area?
Looking for ones good for replacement tires and rims, replacing the BLOWS audio system, and possibly for tinting the car. Also, any good place for maintainence or is the Smithtown dealer good?

Try German Auto Repair in Amityville. Ken Rabb is the owner/technician (?) he has ALOT of Porsche's there. He seems to want to work on tuning and such. Not on tinting and audio type of work. He rebuilds engines and tunes cars for motocross. He has done fine quality work on my A8. In addition he works on a schedule basis only. Lead time could be out 3-4 weeks.
