i get them all the time. got pulled over going 100 in a 65, i told him my uncle was a cop which he is.

he still gave me a ticket and wrote i was going 80.. i pled with him for a bit and got frustrated and told him i will have my uncle null it. he ended up taking the ticket back

pays off to try to be a friend with a cop at least too.

in CT people tailgate you going 80mph and they dont crack down on speeders like down south. i typically drive 80 on a 65 and cops don't pull u over unless u driving over 80. anything over 15-20mph and you'll be screwed.

i could never live in a state like VA, NC, SC, etc... they can/will arrest you if you drive 20mph over the limit i heard..
