Default We'll talk at Edgewater. ;) Don't worry, most everyone runs nitro...

but some of the guys run electric now too.

Default I don't mess with electric. It doesn't matter how much you mod your car, or how

fast your motor is, or how great your tires are....you'll never even come close to being able to hang with my nitro TC-3.

Default

but in the end an electric race is more about tuning and driver skill than a nitro race

Default Not true. The electric cars will SMOKE a nitro in a straight line race.

The new brushless motors are INSANELY fast. Much faster than any nitro car I've seen.

I'm talking ROAR and IFMAR legal setups and not a straight line race

Default I know. That's what I'm saying. Once you throw some turns into the equation...

there's no advantage for either setup. It's all about handling and skill. On the straightaways though, the electric will romp.

Default I always found electric cars to have more tunability...at least in offroad. I don't have much

onroad racing experience. Aside from my minizs and my RCP track. My HPI doesnt see much use at all.
