Default Happy and Sad day for me. Both of our boy's are all growed up. (Parenting Warning) ......

It was time to get my soon to be five year old out of the car seat and in to a booster seat, like his soon to be eight year old brother. NYS M/V Regulations require that a child between 40 and 100 lbs. and / or under 4' 9" tall be in a booster seat.
I picked up a pair of clek booster seats for the S4. I like the fact that they are secured in place wth the latch anchors.

Default wish the new 5 point harness clek was out already

looking closely at the safeguard go because it has 5 point harness.

Our kid is 3 and my car has no seat in it, just the wife so he's hitting that weight threshhold of needing a booster but very few have 5 point harnesses.

The issue with weight is that latch only supports up to 68 pounds (seat and child)

Default We've been buckling up the little guy with the car's seatbelt and securing ............

the child seat with the latch amchors. I wasn't aware that the latch anchors had such a low weight limit.

Default Same story with my daughter, but...

...she's already 5. I'm not ready to have her give up the Recaro car seat she has. I like the extra bolstering it offers her for when she sleeps back there (which is quite often).

At the time when she tells me it's not comfortable anymore, I'll make the switch over to a booster seat.

Default Alexander's already 60 lbs. and 44" tall. .....

He's a little porker, he must get it from my wife's side of the family. <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y61/TonyCat/gifs/101d8225.gif">

Default My wife and I just bought our daughter the recaro car seat. She is growing out of ..

the infant car seat. The recaro seat looks a lot more comfortable than the infant seat.
