Has anyone here had "laser" eye surgery (or any variation) ... or know someone that has?

Something else to consider...
...is that in some cases, your eyesight reverts back to the vision you had prior to surgery. In some instances, in as little as 6-8 months. As of right now, you're only supposed to be able get the surgery once. They can only remove so much tissue...so do it and hope for the best. Honestly, I'm thinking about going myself pretty soon =)

those are extreme cases
some people get the surgery before their eyesight has stabilized and in which case a touch up prcedure is required.
My surgeon requires that your prescrition be stable for 2+ years before operating on you.

No, made mine better
for about 9 months you will see halos, but the effect becomes less and less as you heal.
if you wear contacts or glasses, darkness will magnify your poor vision. Post surgery, and after you heal, you will see much better at night.
