Has anyone here had "laser" eye surgery (or any variation) ... or know someone that has?

The actual procedure is not scary at all, (play by play inside)
lay down
administer eyedrops (numbing, which feels like nothing)
place cutting device over eye (can't feel it)
looks like someone dimmed the lights
hear clicking noises (laser firing)
lights come back on
repeat for other eye
Total chair time, maybe 30 mins.
go home, take sleeping pills
wake up 4-5 hours later with vastly improved but fuzzy vision.
Sleep overnight, wake up with much better vision and less fuzzy.
one week post surgery my vision was 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other.

I wore my regular polarized sunglasses but outside only
at day 2 life is pretty much back to normal. No swimming for awhile and no contact sports for awhile. But I was at work the day after surgery with no problems.
You will need "rewetting eyedrops" for awhile, but that is pretty much it.
