Help me Choose: Keep my B7 Avant, or 09 Jetta sportwagon ?

This is for my wife.
Our 2006 B7 Avant with Premium Package is a lease due in December. So far has 33k miles on it. Buy out is $22.9k from AFS. $27k as a CPO. Good shape, no accidents. 06 has free scheduled maint and 4/50 warranty. Audi Club $500 coupon can be used here.
2009 Jetta Sportwagon SEL with the 2.0T engine and DSG tranny loaded with everything but their open sky sunroof (my wife doesnt like it, I think its great) is $26.5k. 3/36 warranty and free scheduled maintenance. Lease term fee forgiveness transfers from Audi.Need to order this car because the entire country has 4. 2.5L engine is the preferred engine for VW buyers I guess.
Believe it or not, the dimensions of the Jetta wagon are almost the same as the Audi so space is not a consideration.
So, new 09 VW without Quattro but with DSG, or 06 Avant with Quattro and Tip?
Other cars we considered: Volvo V50T5AWD (cheap), Passat Wagon (huge), Tiguan 4Motion (slow, tippy, turbo lag), B8 Avant (expensive even in base trim).

Which VW dealership?
If you're OK w/out AWD and your dealership is decent (i.e. NOT new country) why not go for the Jetta? Save a few $$ though to swap out the not-so-nice chrome grille!
Will your Avant snow setup fit the Jetta?
I'd go TDI w/ DSG, Laser Blue, gray interior, 17" wheels.

No SEL trim level which is necessary for it to anything like the Audi. Also uncertain if the wife will go for it. Paradigm shift.
I like it. Good future-proofing
