Skip...I ran a V1 for a week, a total waste. Drive along 95, it goes off every 30 sec, useless

Default You must be joking right?

Where on I-95? Sounds like around the Greenwich --> Norwalk section.

Default Maybe this would motivate Valentine to develop either...

a smaller V1 unit or one that has remote-mounted sensors. The current V1 is getting tired...lol

Default that is a bad section because of the RF from traffic cams, local alarms on buildings, and other

sources,
change the Big L and most of it goes away.
I swear by my V1, it's saved me countless times!!
had one stolen, bought another almost right away (not before getting a BS ticket that I would have avoided had I been alerted to the cops radar (wasn't speeding, but he pulled my car instead of the real offender)

Default Valentine has instructions on their website...

you enter the programming mode and their are a host of options you can set.

Be mindful of the fact that local police, or police in other states might still use X band. Best thing to do is leave X band on for a while (6 months) driving around your normal roads to verify X band isn't really being used before you completely shut it off. If you travel outside those areas, then remember to turn it back on unless you know it's not an issue.
