Default Plenty available...

...whether you want to rent or buy.

Best suggestion I can give you is to check out the real estate section in this Sunday's NY Times. It will give you a pretty good sense of the market.

Good luck.

Default Thx - I've been searching online, as we're getting a little tired of busy 34th street.

Time for a change - Lookign to rent and buy in a few years (Unless, the prices continue to rise like crazy)

Default Keep in mind that there will be ongoing construction on the new subway line....

on the upper east side. This project is gonna last for years and will require tons of excavation which means you pretty much wont be able to sleep at night.

Default just fyi, me/bro just res'd a spot on 325 5th ave

check out the website 325fifthave....
for me upper anyside= too far of a commute...
but 34th is way too busy- if you're lookin to buy, i've seen a few small duplex's going for around 600k 300maint/300 taxes...usually only 1bdrm though...

i haven't been looking at rentals so i can't really say much at all...oh, and as far as a good broker- i've found it's better just to use nypost.com and nytimes.com to see apts...cuts the middle man out...i realized all they did was do the searching for me...=0)
