Doesnt make it any better. Id rather drive and get there way before the train does.

I have done NJ to the Daytona area many times... it is an easy drive really...

I would usually leave around 3pm though, as I would miss the rush from NY, Philly and DC then drive straight through the night. I have done that trip in about 14 hours or so. I pack my stuff and only stop for gas: Once just north of Richmond, VA; once at South of the Border; once in the Savannah, GA area and then I am there.
