Default Idea

I would like a minor mod instructor. Im not confident working off the instructions. I was raised tool-challenged. I was thinking if someone who had expierence could supervise minor mods done to our cars. I would like to change my own pads, oil, paint calipers.

Proposal:

Everybody who has a minor mod to do schedule 1 weekend. Everybody chips in $20 to whomever wants to supervise. We have 4 or 5 hours to do our mods. Those who do their mods can help the other who havent completed.

Minor mods would include:

Clear Corners
Oil Change
Brake Pad Replacement
Brake Bleeding
K&N Filter
Spark Plug Replacement

Actually, that sounds like a pretty good idea.

Default BYOJ - Bring your own jack

would be the way to go. Once you do it you will know it.

I went to Midas they wanted $200+ for rear brake pad replacement and bleed. They must be sick since those pads cost $30.00.

A mod instructor is there to stop you if he sees you going in the wrong direction or if your stumped.

5 people and someone can make a quick $100.

Default I'd be happy to help >>>

depending on location although currently I don't have any minor mods to do (I am doing a timing belt next weekend but that doesn't really count as a minor mod). Besides all the standard maintenance items (including haldex), here's my mod list, all self-installed either in a driveway, parking lot, or street.

Default When you've lived in apartments your whole life you learn to work wherever it convenient>>

When I lived in Brooklyn I wish that I had a dollar for everytime a cop walking by stopped to make sure the car was mine.
