Default It's the simple things...

After dropping my son off at daycare I was lucky enough to be the only car on the road. Even though it was only a few miles until I hit the hell that is known as 202, that ride along the South branch of the Raritan River was perfect. Quattro therapy...

Default That is a great road if its the one I'm thinking of.

I go on it on my motorcycle all the time. Only problem is its too short! Is that the road that hits 202 by the A&P shopping center?

Default CR 625 (River Road)

Right along the Hillsborough-Branchburg border and Duke Island Park. It ends at the new 1st Ave bridge in Raritan.

Default Some great roads in Hunterdon County..

Try taking 202 in Flemington northbound, right past James Toyota, make a right oh Kuhl RD.. EXCELLENT road for "sprinted" driving.

You can take that out to Amwell Road (CR 514) and go up the mountain on Montgomery RD, Longhill RD or Zion RD.. lots of fun.

It's been a few years since I took 514. Real fun IIRC! I'm in that general area pretty often and I don't live too far so I think a few runs are in order.

Growing up in Sussex County made me real spoiled for "fun" roads. My old stomping grounds were Fredon, Green Twp, and Stillwater. I still hit those roads when I'm up visiting my folks, usually accompanied with a few eye-rolls from the wife...

Default There are alot of fun roads up there..

..as well. I'm actually looking to move to Sussex County. CR-565 is fun as well as the county road that connects US-206 with SR-23 in Sussex.. I forget the number. SR-94 can be fun as well.
