JHM Tune & State Inspections?

JHM Tune & State Inspections?
Hi everyone. I wanted to check if there was anyone who has experience with this specific case.
I live in new york, where the vehicle state inspection standards are only second to california.
I just applied the JHM ECU & TCU tune to my 2011 Audi A6 3.0T and was told previously by JHM Support that the tune would not pass Emissions in california.
Now by this fact, i'm assuming it probably wouldn't pass new york's emissions tests either. But i'm not absolutely certain.
Is there anybody here from new york that has put this tune on their 2009-2011 C6 A6 and tried taking it to get inspected?
I just want to be sure that if i take it to get inspected that I won't get reported by the shop or that the state won't automatically find out when the car gets hooked up and reports to the state's computer systems.
