by a Clifton PO. He was following me for about a 1/2 mile and I didn't even realize it. I made a left turn and into a gas station on the right. The next thing I see is him next to me...Before he even got out of his Durango, he was like how many points do you have on your licence? I replied that I never have been pulled over in my life. He didn't believe a word out of me. He said he clocked me 57 in a 25 and asked me for my licence, insurance card, and registration. Guess what...I found out my insurance card was expired, because my renewal recently came in. I appologized to the officer god knows how many times and he let me off. He also addressed me for a while of the consequences if he would have given me a ticket and asked me to slow down. Talk about luck. I'm gonna take it easy from now on.

doing 90 in a 55, he didn't issue a speeding ticket but this piece of paper was costly, sitting at home on the table ;-)

But he really had a bad day, you could tell. Ususally the fine would be about $35-45 for a missing insurance paper, the law changed this same month to incredible high fines....well, better than any points.
