Default use my method: keep in glove box in mylar bag and place on dashboard when required

and once used put it away. No velcro, nothing to worry about, ever.

Default don't get one. When the reader doens't pick up your pass, they can't scan it like a window mount

the bar code is in the back against the bumper.

BTDT and had to pay for tolls when throgs neck wasn't reading it....

Default Just "placing it" on the dashboard while you're driving, and then putting it away afterwards never

causes a "failure to read" or do you pick it up everytime you go through the the gates?

What's the upside? Just the "ugly factor" ?

Default Pep Boys used to sell a suction cup mounted holder for the windshield.

Gotta wedge it up by the headliner, otherwise it will rock back and forth making some chattering, but once it's wedged in place, it's fine.

Default I think some people have had success mounting in grille or engine bay near grille

You test it out by driving thru toll and seeing if it works.

Default why the mylar bag?

I just keep mine in the center armrest. when going through the toll, I just hold it up against the windshield. Works fine, but I'm thinking about the permanent solution because my car's a stick, and shifting/holding up the ezpass can be a pain in the neck.

Never needed the mylar bag though.
