Nice 2004 Allroad for sale at a reasonable price

I had a chance to buy a CPO 04 Allroad w/ 23k miles for $29,900 back in Dec.05
So the depreciation stream is pretty consistent.. I don't feel they are insanely soft.. that's just how Audis depreciate

'02 was the most optioned year but in theory the '04's have the updated Torque Converters
If you can live without a heated steering wheel and some other fluff, then it's a great car. But that mod bug will bite hard.
H-sports are a mandatory mod
all allroads eat tires
and the 2.7T engine is higly moddable but a potential money pit. Weak points are:
Cam Tensioners
Valve covers
Vent hoses and oil return lines
Tail Shaft
And the air suspension is a PIA to diagnose when it acts up.
If that stuff has been addressed, then it should eb solid for a long time.

Doesn't cost anything to test drive it
but know that h-sports dramatically improve the ride.
In my opinion, perfect family car as long as you don't think you'll have more than 2 kids and no dog.
Comfy, fast, sharp looking and highly versatile.
