Default that's about right...$80 is the cheapest i've seen it...but if you change your tire pressure

for various conditions its not worth it. Once you mix air in there the purpose is done.

Default the question is why do it in the first place? Don't let the car dealer snow you...

Normal air is more than 78% Nitrogen to start with.

Sure its lower in moisture and will aleviate the internal rusting of the wheels, but we have allum. alloy wheels and we will either destroy them or sell them before they could even begin to rust out.

Nitrogen is less prone to outside temp changes and will hold its pressure. Well as enthusiasts, we are going to check our inflation often regardless of the methood used to fill them up...right?

In the end whether its $40.00 or $100.00 you can accomplish the same with normal pressure checking and normal free air.<ul><li><a href="http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/car-advice/20070714_driving_dollars_tires_nitrogen_a1.asp">re ad on.</a></li></ul>

Default for the average driver that sets the pressure and forgets about it nitrogen is better

because there is less chance of failure due to even a gradual loss of pressure. But for someone who alters pressure, yes its a waste because once you incorporate any air you lose the purpose of nitrogen.
