I thought knowing how to pump your own gas was common knowledge

Was for me at least. I wish I could do it myself in NJ

What's next on this list? Every little girl knows how to use a VISA card because they practice

every week at the mall or they are smart enough to send a SMS from a cell phone while driving.

Screw that, if the parents show them wrong priorities and don't even prepare their kids - let them figure it out themselves!

Oh, BTW; there are instructions written on the pump on "how-to".....but that's too much to ask for I guess.....
