NYC to and from vermont ski areas, I-87 or I-95/I-91?

Default Hey, me too! My first speeding ticket was in hopewell junction.

86 in a 55. That sucked. A lot. I had FOUR days left on my probation, too.

Default definitely keep it under 70....or 65 if you want to play it safe.

on Friday nights they definitely bump up the speed traps.

Keep an eye out for deer too, I personally have had to deer hits in a month so far this winter.

87 Thruway hands down.....i used to live at Stratton and made the trek from NJ/NYC

Default only one way to go to vermont....i have a house in manchester - drive there A LOT - take taconic

Taconic to Chattam NY - follow 295 to 22 - all the way to Rt 7 - rt 7 goes into vermont -

check it on google maps

WAY faster 87 and other highways the whole way

wrong!!!, take exit for E chatham, last exit before toll...and DONT F with cops on Taconic
