So yesterday I got the best news I've gotten in a long time....I got laid off!! WOOoooOoOTTTT!!!!11!11!!! I've had the feeling this was going to happen for the past couple of months, which is why I just didn't quit and leave on my own. My patience finally paid off for once!

Yup, so two more weeks of this torture and I'm a free man. I'll be packing my bags sometime around the 20th of May, then me and my wonderful severance package are finally heading South to concentrate full time on the new business.

Just wanted to share the news. Since I don't post on that *other* forum, someone cross-post this for me. Thanks!!

Thanks! I'm sure I'll be around from time to time since my family is here. Although it'll be hard to leave the sunshine and palm trees when it's frigid up here.

I still lurk here, just not post as much because, frankly, the whole setup confuses me. I'm sure if I posted more or spent the time getting used to it, it would be fine, but I maintain that even a VB setup like Audizine, Rennlist, or 6speed would be better. But this thread isn't about this :-)

I still can't believe you're excited about getting laid off. You're probably the only person in the country who is lol. But best of luck with the new shop, and I look forward to seeing the new product lines, wheels, etc. If you ever need cheap, part time (remote) help, let me know :-). And I should hopefully be heading down to FL next year, so I'll have to stop by and say hi.

Oh, and hint hint: If there's anyway you can set up an online Audi parts store to replace the soon to be defunct Riverside one, you would be my hero.
