Default Planing details for a spring time drive through "Hawk's Nest"

Some of the best twisties in NY run along the Delaware river in a section of road-meets-cliffs called "Hawk's Nest". Long known by locals to have some fantastic views, great driving, and one of the quaintest little ice cream shoppes you've ever seen.
Right on the PA/NY/NJ border, this location isn't ridiculously far for many and has proven (I believe this is in fact the site of the annual "Cliffs of Insanity" Drive) to be a very memorable location for past drives. That is why, I believe, we should do a spring drive up there. I just need some input, then I'll finalize the details.
That having been said:

Also, any ideas for a name?
1. Delaware River Run
2. Cliffs of Springsanity
3. Lumberland Runabout
4. ????<your suggestions>

once we get a date i'll start spreading the word.. lets start this wit a bang! lets make this a photoshoot/dvd shoot.. i'll have my camera and the camera mount for the outside of the car.. also that will draw more people in! at the vwvids.com gtg (to get dvd footage) there was like 60 dubs.. so i'm sure we can get them plus all of us.. we might even have enough good footage to finish the dvd by waterfest and sell it off.. what do u guys think? whatever date is good for every1 else.. just lemme know so i can spread the werd!

Default Fantastic idea! As long as the weather co-operates this would be a GREAT place to get footage.

the drive I'm planning has some great bridges and other cliff drive bys. With your climbing ability, we could get some sick shots!

Default Great Drive.. Great Road..

There was a great pub/bar in Port Jervis at the start of the road that had the BEST ONION RINGS known to man... but that was 25+ years ago...

I could be mistaken, but...isn't there canoeing up along one of the roads? Might make a very good day..
