Default I am going to Stowe this weekend....

They're supposed to get 15 inches today, another 15-26 inches tonight, and more tomorrow.

http://www.crh.noaa.gov/zones/VTZ006.php?zo=1</a

Default It's going to be "Epic" for VT this weekend!, Unfortunately so will the crowds.

I'm going to mix my skiing with some snow shoeing, and hiking an abandoned ski area nearby to catch some fresh. Stowe rocks! Get some tree skiing in and don't forget to hike to the top behind the gondola, for the untracked.
Have Fun!

Default Don't worry...I know some Stowe spots that are never tracked. ;) Remember...

I've been going there for 29 years.

Default LOL...I don't ski. ;) You ever get stuck in the riverbead while skiing the

glades between the gondola and nosedive? Total NEWB move...but it's happened to me once. Took like two hours to get out.

Default Never got stuck there, but almost got in lots of trouble skiing...

off the waterfall under the gondola to the skiers left. Ski Patrol wasn't to happy with me.
I remember skiing a line called "O'****" off the main mountain in the tree's, that was fun. I did have to hike a while after skiing into the woods of Chin Clip with some locals and getting stuck in a little valley there. We managed to ski down to the road and hike back over to the gondola after an altitude adjustment.
