Default So, what ethnic touch is added to your Turkey Day?

For my American Italian family we add in a few things:

pepperoni, provolone in the center of the Italian bread "ring"

soup course -- something that resembles Italian Wedding soup, but it isn't and in fact never heard of it until recently and certainly never had it at a wedding.

Stuffed Mushrooms (although I'm not a huge fan)

Stuffed Artichokes

The addition of a Lasagna course

The addition of a baked Ham (mmmmmmmm)

finocchio after dinner and before dessert

In addition to the American favs got to have the cannoli's available and while not ethnic, chocolate pudding pie is a must.

Martin: [clip from 'My Blue Heaven'] Thanksgiving is very big with the Italians - turkey cacciatore, sweet potato parmeggian-
ACTRESS: There is no such thing as Thanksgiving in Italy. It is an American holiday. And I've been to Italy, it's not an-
MARTIN: To Florence, right?
ACTRESS: Yes.
MARTIN: Ever been to Sicily, by any chance?
ACTRESS: No.
MARTIN: Thanksgiving is very big in Sicily, on account of the large number of Sicilians who went to America and then got thrown back out

Default Sounds pretty good Jim, I like the Ham and Lasagna additions.

Not a fan of Turkey at all.

We just add a Polish favorite. My mother-in-law make home made Pierogies with corn beef and onion.
