Default snow tires are over rated! I drove through this just fine in with all season continentals in my b5

I dont understand why people with quattro need snow tires (unless they live in places where it snows all year around)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/KEVIN88GT/snowww.jpg</a

Default because

most of us (including me) run summer tires during the other 3 seasons. So winter tires are the most logical thing to get for the winter, that is when it actually snows though.

Default 2nd That.

I run high performance summer tires for 3 seasons and high performance snows in the 4th season (winter).

I don't like the compromise of allseasons.

I travel a lot in upstate NY for work and wouldn't think of using only all-seasons up there.

Default It's still a smart move and winter is far from over. You'll get your chance to use the potential

of those snows soon enough.

Default all it takes is one day per season to make snow tires pay off.

but yeah, more snow would be nice.
