I made the run down there on Saturday. Total time was 1hr. 10 mins from Park Slope Brooklyn. This includes the "typical" traffic on eastbound 278. I was not going very fast on the way down (except for the little "romp" on the NJ Tpke with a 335i).
The drive down was nice. GSP to rte 614; 614 to rte. 9 south.
The place has adequate parking - it would be good for a 8-12 car GTG. There are the typical drive-in stalls and also a sitting area with about 7 tables with four chairs per table.
Good news is there is a Shell station right off of the GSP on 614. So, if you get a clear road on the way down and the drive takes on a more "spirited" nature, you'll be able to fill up without issue.
