Default Third New York Speeding Ticket in 6 months. Need some advice and a lawyer...

So, through a combination of bad judgement and worse luck, I've managed to rack up three speeding tickets in New York state in the past 5 or 6 months. All of them under stupid circumstances. Keep in mind, I have a Massachusetts license as I split my time between new york and boston. Not driving in new york anymore is not an option as my business is located here.

First, 50 in a 30 on Montauk Highway in East Hampton at 1 am. No other cars around. I paid that one.

Second, 70 in a 40 on the goddamn FDR (honestly, who gets pulled over on the FDR?) which I am contesting with the only real grounds being that I knew if I had one more strike I was out.

Third, a real beauty - yesterday on 684 in Katonah doing 96 in a 65. He got me on laser just as I was passing a couple slow cars. I had been cruising along at 80, and punched it up and he managed to get me at the absolute peak. Really aggravating. This one, there was no price on the ticket, so I think I may be in deep ****.

Basically, anyone know a good traffic lawyer?

Default you are in deep crap..

in NY.. 3 speeds in 18 months is an automatic revocation of the license. While you may not have your points transfer to mass. you will loose your ability to drive in NY State.

TO further compound this you need THREE Lawyers who are good in each county.

I think the easy one do mover to a non moving will be the Suffolk County. SO I'd find a Suffolk..east end lawyer first.

In the mean time. Send back all three tickets with teh not guilty checked off AND.. BIG AND..check of the DEPOSITION REQUESTED BOX.

Copy all three..front and back..and send all three out Reterun Receipt Certified. This give you the record of the depostion request. The cops have 30 days to do this. If you don't get it then you or your eventual lawyer can ask for a dismissial due to lack of evidence.
It will also give you time to find the lawyers you need.

Good Luck and get a Hyundai.

Default Katonah has been having a HUGE speed trap in that area for the past month now

Hitting everyone with laser. Everyone watch up around there on both 684 and Saw Mill River Parkway. I heard that they usually hide up on a bridge and radio squad cars to pull people over.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to make out without a suspension.
