Just thought I'd share pics...
The 450R is a really nice match for the Avant rails. Maybe slightly less shine than the rails, but from a couple of steps away it is almost identical. I'm really happy with the looks of the cross bars. I'm a little disappointed with the noise. I expected noise, but they're a little louder than I expected... overall though, much happier with this set up than a standard square or round bar with a fairing.
Are there any tricks to mounting the box by myself, or is it strictly a 2-person job?

(Trivia: Anyone recognize the background building in the below pic ... from a TV show)

I was actually able to get it on the car by myself without much problem (and I'm not a big guy by any means). I was originally planning on storing it in the shipping box on it's side, but it makes for a VERY tight squeeze in my short and narrow 1-car garage.
I'll check out West Marine for some kind of storage hoist option. It's hard to justify $100 for the Thule set up (I think).
