I'm literally watching the price of stuff I'm saving for climb and climb. Just when I think I've caught up, I need to save more money. When will this end?!
For those not as opsessed with this as I am, at the close of the market yesterday, one Euro was equivalent to $1.4898 USD. AKA something that cost 100 Euros costs us $148.98.

I have been in the US 2o years, I have always enjoyed a high dollar compared to EU currencies (aside from British)
So everytime I went to Europe, I could buy whatever I wanted and really enjoy vacations in great places.
With the Euro all of Europe took a nice 30% rise in prices prior to the Euro rising well above the dollar.
I don't buy anything there anymore and considering the sales taxes are 20% .......
High Euros helps US tourism but serioulsy bugs out EU exports because they are less competitive price wise.
Then again the EU always has to point the finger on this side of the ocean for all their misery, war, bad economy etc.... seems like everytime the US economy sneezes the EU fears to catch the flu.
