Warning for those Driving through CT with Radar Detectors:
The CT State Police are using K-Band Radar.
I was drving home from Lime Rock on Rte. 8 and came around a turn and my K-Band alert went off on my V1.
Typically I ignore K-Band alerts on CT Highways as the State Police have always used Ka-Band for Radar.
Usually K-Band alerts on CT highways come from those traffic warning signs near construction zones etc.
Well, up ahead was a State Trooper with someone pulled over and he had the externally mounted radar on his cruiser. As I passed, the arrows on my V1 started to point back towards the Trooper so he was definitely the source.
Just a heads up.
