from Newark, as long as there are no delays you will be in NY Penn Station in about 15 maybe 20 minutes.

On one of my late nights (by late I mean 9pm'ish (after happy hour) instead of my usual 5pm commute) I was on a train to Neward from NY. Was kinda crowded so I stood in the vestibule, next thing I know some dude is playing with his switch blade talking to himself. I thought that was it....... thank god there was someone else in the vestibule but this nut job was really talking to himself and playing with his blade. That sucked, but that was the only time something like that has happened and I have been taking train from NY for over 2 years.

But the arena was built right next to a bad area of Newark, I know there will be plenty of police and everything should be fine.

I usually only go to the portuguese area of Newakr for the bars and rodizio style restaurants.
