Default 97 Volvo 850 sedan BT... "Check Engine" light has come on because of cracked Dizzy cap....

Having replaced it, how can I turn off the lite? Can I rent a code scanner from Autozone or Pep Boys and turn it off?

Those scanners will work fine. Might want to try leaving the battery unhooked for an hour or so.

Default Have you looked on brickboard.com?

I sometimes help a friend with a '94 850. Although it's not as user-friendly as it used to be, I have gotten good advice there.
