How's the traffic out there during rush hour? We're contemplating putting an offer on some land and building out that way since anywhere on the east side is so outrageous for a crap hole house.

Just don't want to exchange our 1hr freeway commute for 2hr sitting on 202 or Union Hill Rd commute.

Default traffic is horrible...

every time I've been there. If you're driving on Sahalee or in the Union Hill area traffic is horrendous when you head toward the 520 onramp in the morning and is jammed packed in the evening when you head out toward the residential area. The roads just arent big enough anymore to deal with all the traffic.

Default I live up Ames Lake Rd.

Traffic isn't too bad for me usually. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the shop. Union Hill Rd. is usually a faster way and the road is not as torn apart (although near the end it's pretty bad).

Do you have a realtor? My bro sells a lot of land in that area and can help you out if needed.

Where are you thinking? Up 8th? or near Aldarra?

Default No idea yet where, we were just up there this weekend looking at property.

But you know how it is the first time you're someplace, we were all turned around.

Any real areas to avoid? We noticed quite a few old single wides in certain areas. But then next door would be a gated mcmansion. We're not looking to build anything super extravagent, we mainly just want space.

Default you *really* need to talk to my brother

he knows that entire area very very well. He lives on the south side of 202 himself. Give him a call - Jason Decker 425-922-9043

PLUS if you buy a property through him you can earn a gift certificate to Achtuning! (up to like $2500!!)
