Default Anyone have a helmet I could borrow for the ORPCA track day at PIR on Friday the 20th

It's my first time at the track, and I just found out that there are no loaners.

What SNELL standards do they require?

Default $250 buys a G Force Pro Force One SA 05 helmet

Under $300 you have your choice of several models. It is definitely worth it to get your own.

Competition Motorsports in Portland carries helmets, as does Speedware in Seattle IIRC.

I'm wondering why the Team Continental Driving School only requires Snell 80 or newer.

I have a Snell 85 helmet I bought in 1987 with a 1987 CBR 600F. The interior material is flaking off. Each time I put it on and take it off I feel the need to wash my hair ;-)

If it was Snell 2000 (or acceptable) I'd loan it to you.

Looks like I'll be making a purchase this summer.

Default My old helmet is a (L) M95 Bell full-face...won't pass their tech.

The Audi Club NW just had a group buy for members when they replaced all the old rental helmets. Bell open-face SA05 for $175.00.

Default G...did you find a helmet yet? I'm filming all day with the P-car kids and you are welcome to

borrow mine so long as I get a little tiny bit of kick-back to have it cleaned after. I'm a bit of a germaphobe and not too keen on other people's sweat all over me Except for my hotass other half...if you know what I mean.
