Attn: track junkies. My car is very close to being ready to run again.

The major stuff should be done in the next few days, and then I only have a few more minor things to do. I'm all stocked up on rotors, pads, tires, etc. Assuming no other major problems are found, I should be fine.
So, given the fact that we can run PIR with the Audi Club in early November, when do we all want to get to Pacific on a weekend? I'd prefer a 2-day Saturday and Sunday event, if possible.

Let us know when you are heading out, and I will do my best to join you. We need more Audis! And, yeah, track events here are different... you will see.

Scroll down and check the Sept. 9/10 event (co-sponsored by the PNW Porsche Club). Better sign up quick though, as it is likely to fill up fast. Contact Tom Olson for details.
You are not likely to see many Audis participating at that one (or at any Pacific Raceways event to be honest), but BMW CCA and PNW PCA have many events there throughout the year. However, you do have to belong to one of these to attend:
NW Alfa Romeo Club, BMW CCA (or ACA), or one of the regional Porsche clubs. Audi does not count. I'd join the BMW CCA local chapter as it gets you into all the club events (except Audi).
That should be a great weekend. Maybe you can talk dojo_s4 and Steve0369 into attending. Or who knows, maybe someone else here.
I'm out of town that weekend, so I'm SOL for that one.
I am signed up for a track day with a bunch of kids from Vancouver, BC (Definitive Driving/ProFormance) on Labor Day (as close to a weekend as you are going to get) at Pacific Raceways.

Suspension, pads, fluid, wheels, harnesses, etc. It's so much nicer to do all that for a significant amount of track time rather than quickie events.
I guess that makes the argument for a dedicated track car even stronger!
