Default AWD Kicks A$$ in the Snow!

If we still had the M3 we would've been stuck on the side of the road again. The Touareg drove flawlessly.

Default I went to Hood today.....lovely feeling passing everyone!

Went home the Hood River way with nobody in sight. 60mph on the straights.....so cool to see that snow flying behind you. I drove a Yukon before the S4 and it was a great snow truck, but it is so fun driving a sportier car that kicks *** in snow. I had to do a few donuts in the empty parking lot for good measure

Default Having weekdays off is a good thing.

It was pretty nice up there today. Alot more than 2 inches in several places. It was dumping when I left....hopefully it keeps up cause I'm going tomorrow too!

Default Ya, mid-week is the way to go, if you can.

I went up last Thursday (had to use a vacation day) and it was awesome. The snow was almost too deep in some sections (like Jacks Woods... any attempt to turn and you'd sink right in... so you just had to point it straight and hope you could avoid the trees).

BTW, were they plowing/sanding the roads at all? Last Thursday, it snowed the entire day, but they never once plowed or sanded... made for some really slick roads (even with Blizzaks). I'd never seen so many cars in the ditch before... it was amazing.
