Default It was fine up until two days ago....

I got some guy who didn't speak English very well. After telling the guy to only do the wheels, the A****** used the brush that was used to scrub my wheels on my rear bumper and the vertical portion of my trunk lid. Scratched the clear coat all up. Beyond swirl.

The guy who is usually there wasn't. They are only suppose to scrub wheels and the painted rubber portion underneath the doors.

I know have an appointment with their detail shop.

How are the swirls from when you picked up the new ride? Fixed?

Default Can anyone use it for a fee?

Or do you have to have service done there?

Default I picked up some touch up paint today (24 bucks!?!) and took a peek

at the car wash.

It's supposed to have cost $1,000,000 After watching the guys swab the lower portions of the cars being washed - I'm definitely going to specify "No Wash" when I get my car serviced next.

Ichiro's Carerra GT was inside the service area. Dayum!

The new facilities are pretty impressive.

Haven't been down there yet to see the facility. What does the washing facility consist of?

Can't believe Ichiro has a Carrera GT. I hear that guy's notorious for fixing up Nissans. He supposedly has a black/black G35 coupe that's naaasty.

Default It's a multi-bay soft cloth wash. Those strips rotate pretty quickly! I was cringing watching

a black Cayenne go through...

First step - guys "pre-wash" the wheels and lower body panels with a long mop like device and a bucket. That actually looked like the worst part of the program.

I'm sure Ichiro will be sporting one of the first Skyline GT-Rs in the U.S.

We saw him @ spring training '01 and he was driving a QX4 Infiniti. Sasaki almost ran us over in a 996.

Default you're screwed.

These things will always swirl paint. Guaranteed. But it's not (as) noticeable on lighter colors like silver. Wife's silver car gets the soft cloth wash all the time. My black car gets hand wash with microfiber mittens.

Default I would pass on the Lexus wash`

I saw one of the guys go crazy with the CA water blade. Also, I thought they were giving out car wash cards, yes - no?
