Default beware of unmarked Bronze Dodge Intrepid, tinted window, lic. 520 NUV

been paced this morning on 405 by this unmarked cop. Needless to say I am very disappointed because I already got V1 installed and have been constantly monitoring neighboring traffic for cops.

There is absolutely no way to tell this is a cop because the windows are really dark, and the car doesn't even have XMT plates. Brand new sparkling car.

The cop is a State Patrol and the ticket is for Redmond Regional Court.

Any recommendation for fighting a pace ticket?

Thanks,
Baxter

Pretty much the opposite - very hard to dispute.

Default What are your ground for the dispute? The officer is a direct witness and has the oldest acceptable

form of evidence in the books for your infraction.

Your only possible defense is to argue that his speedometer is defective. Lots of luck with that one.

Default I think it is more difficult to fight a radar ticket?

If there is no video tape supporting his claim for the pace, he might as well say I am going 120?

Default Judges/courts have been accepting an officer's observations with pacing evidence for 60+ years.

Defenses question the accuracy of radar/laser detection systems have been far more effective in court.
