Default BOO FVCKING YEAH BABY> TDI in 09

Today's new clean diesel variants have gained wide receptance due to their unique characteristics including excellent performance, high fuel-efficiency, low-emissions output and low-maintenance.

Audi is a recognized leader in the design, development and sales of diesel engine vehicles. In Europe, where more than than 50% of all vehicles sold each year are diesel powered, Audi clearly ranks as a leading brand.

In 2009 Audi of America will introduce the first in a series of diesel engine variants with the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI. Audi of America is targeting full 50 state emissions approval for this model.

http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/experience/technology/Audi_TDI.html

Default sigh... dammit I should've read it closer...

thankfully I love my AR and have no issues

heh.. I washed the S2k today and realized I haven't driven it much since Q-fest b/c of rain and snow etc... I went out for a quick spin and realized this car is just way too much fun. I can't say I've had a car (that I've kept) that still does that to me everytime I drive it.

end of rant... but a good one!

Default When the time comes, diesel VW Tiguan looks like an interesting option...

...to replace our Jeep GC. Concept looks nice, but the orange look might be a little over the top for the wife. Overall, looks about right though for us -- and a little less expensive than the big brother vehicles.

Some marketing notes from VW Vortex

Default Hehe - I've put almost 2K miles on mine since then.

I drove it out to Astoria on the WA side of the Columbia on Thursday - very nice twisties through the hills. Lots of interesting lighting conditions, but few opportunities to do much with the conditions/locations with my camera.

Default The "decorations" on the tires are really a nice touch.

Will they call those Orangewalls in contrast to the Whitewalls from a bygone era?
