Default Futrell Autowerks: A Brief Introduction - Audi Service & Repair

Many of you here might not be familiar with Futrell Autowerks so we've put together this brief company summary, I hope all of you will take a few minutes to read it and learn a little about who we are and where we came from.

Futrell Autowerks has two locations in the NW's prime markets; Beaverton, Oregon approximately two miles west of Nike's world headquarters and in Bellevue, WA on Bel-Red Road just a few short blocks from I-405, I-520 and Microsoft. We're Pacific NW locals and industry leaders in all things relevant to Volkswagen and Audi tuning and repair.

Our door's first opened in 2001 but a brief history check will show Dean Futrell, the companies president has a long time history in the NW Volkswagen community, dating all the way back to 1989. "I started off in aircooled, a `68 Sq.back was my first car and I was hooked, that led to other older model Type-3s, two of which were widely campaigned up and down the west coast and featured in both Hot VWs and VW Trends magazines. When the opportunity came to start up my own Volkswagen/Audi tuning and service shop I jumped on it and never looked back!" - Dean Futrell, President and CEO.

Now five years later we sell and install the very finest in products including APR, Autotech, Borla, Brembo, Diesel Geek, ECS, GHL, H&R, Milltek, Neuspeed, New South Performance, Techtonics Tuning and many more. We stock the very best in offerings from all of these fine manufacturers and offer full installation services. We're also the oldest APR dealer on the entire West Coast; When our partnership with APR began in 2002 we quickly became a leader in Westside Audi performance and maintenance which prompted our move one year ago to our current location in Oregon on Baseline Rd just east of 185th. This new location allows us to concentrate more on routine service and superior performance upgrades.

Late last year we were approached by APR and the former APR dealer for Seattle to take over their fledgling operations in the area. While we tried for several months to put this deal together ultimately it was decided to open a new location in Bellevue rather than try to resurrect and restructure what was left of the existing dealers assets and location. Our new location gives us a fresh start in the Seattle market and we carry the APR flag along with all of our other time proven product lines.

Default Thanks, Dean. Some things on my list for next year:

in no particular order:

18" wheels
Exhaust (leaning toward borla)
K03/16 turbos
short shifter

I'll certainly swing by when I've got $ in my wallet.

Default Re: Futrell Autowerks: A Brief Introduction - Audi Service & Repair

I am currently attending Wyotech in West Sacramento and will be graduating in June of '07. I am originally from Beaverton and have had my jetta into your shop a couple of times. Im sporting the Futrell decals on my windows and all the watercooled guys down here (which all seem to be from the NW) are sick of listening me talking about you guys. I have wanted to be a VW technician since I started getting into them. Any help you could lend me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Clint
