Default Has anyone here with a laser jammer ever had it fail you?

(*Waves to John*)

So I need a new jammer for my new B5 S4. I had a Blinder in the previous B5 S4 which worked great, but the Blinder sensors/jammers are MASSIVE. I'm considering a move to Lidatek solely because the sensor/jammer device is so much smaller and easier to hide.

The review rates the Blinder as giving better jamming, but it may be more than is really necessary. Does it really matter if one jams to 30 feet and the other to 300 feet if I've already slowed down when I'm at 1000 feet?

My Blinder saved my *** 4 times in 16 months, never gave a false alarm, and never failed me. Can anyone provide similar details for a different brand/model?

TIA!

You jump into bed when you hear the name "BMW Slayer?" I'll have to remember that trick

Default I have both the Lidateks and Passport SR7 shifters installed on my car

It has 'failed' me twice. Once I was within 100 meters (328 feet) when I was targeted so the laser was able to punch through and get a reading.

The second time the officer targeted me from an angle and there is no way any jammer can protect you from that.

For any hit laser hit that was father away (300-400 meters) I have over a dozen confirmed hits with no tickets.

And if you don't slow down within 30 feet of the officer holding the gun I'm sure you don't have to worry if the laser got a reading off you for speeding. =)

Default Both at the same time? Jeez you're paranoid!

Very interesting! Does either one seem to come on first or give more false alarms? If you were to only get one, which would you get?
