I would never have dreamed this was a cop. It looks like a $300 beater!
But he flashed his blues at me (doing 75ish) from the side of the road a couple days ago and I saw him again today.

Yeah I have seen that car. They also have a suburban that way too. I think it was maroonish and it is slightly lowered.

I've got two different tickets in the last 3 months, and I haven't been pulled over by a cruiser in years. They have all been stealth/semi-stealth police vehicles.
There's also a dark blue blazer/tahoe/something that his whole job is "aggressive driving" patrol. He'll pull you over and give you a BS ticket if you look like you are not a good little sheep. I got a negligent 2nd for crossing a couple of lanes in one manuver, not even speeding. Watch out for this dude...

Not confined to the Sound area - they have a similar fleet down here near Vancouver too.
Often the plates have the initials WSP in the alpha portion of the number, but you have to be able to read the plate to figure out that the car is WSP.
The Suburbans and Explorers they are using down here have tinted windows so you can't really see inside or see the light bars until they turn them on.

I think they are reasonable police, only stop u if u speeding carelessly

As it happen to me last time, doing about 90mph (i-90), undercover police come next to me like want a race, but i just keep steady doing 90s. and he just left me to catch another car in front of me. Felt so lucky. Dont remember what car, but it was all black. It was pretty late, so there is no other car.
I guess they are pretty reasonable when they stop you? I hope they are.
