Default how much for a 'decent' torque wrench? Where to get it?

Saw a couple in Home Depot the other day, lowest price was $58 or so. Sears or GI Joes carry any cheaper ones that are still 'decent'?

Would be used for when I swap out winter wheels.

Default Whatever one you get, be sure to "release" the spring tension when done...

I am chronically forgetting to do that. I inevitably have to wander out to the garage days after using the thing to release the tension. It's one of those things that I remember just as I'm falling asleep. "Oh @!#$. I'll get it in the morning. Snore." 3 days later: Oh @#$%!

Got mine at Schuck's...

Default Unless you let your friends use it... :P

Oh yeah, just remember to use it....say when tightening down lugnuts. I've seen lots of cars come out of the shop with loose lugnuts, myself included.

Default BTW: Just saw this thing by accident.

It's kinda slick, although, I think more useful to have a pal that has one than to BUY one. Heh.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1871475.phtml">Link to a digital torque meter...</a></li></ul>

Default I heard the Craftsman ones aren't guaranteed for life

I got mine from TireRack.

Very good value ($30) and holds up well.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&url=%2Faccessories%2Ftools%2Ftw605.jsp ">http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/tools/tw605.jsp</a></li></ul>
