OT: What happens when a package is stolen and you file a UPS claim?

Do you know for a fact it was delivered?
I ask because it seems odd someone would send something of that value and not have it be signed for upon delivery or with out insurance.
Either way I am very sorry. Hopefully you can contact your credit card people and have them sort it out, that may be the only way you can recoup your loss.

If the sender doesn't want it to be signed upon delivery and there is no insurance to insure it arrives in one working piece why is UPS at fault for something that was stolen off his doorstep? They did what they were paid to do.

Had them deny a claim on a monitor I had shipped from my old place in CA up to Seattle.
It was broken in transit and they flat out refused to pay for it despite having insurance on my entire shipment.
