Plasti dipped my upper and lower grille. Mirrors are next.

Its called Plasti -Dip I picked it up from Home Depot it comes in a spray can.
Very durable. I removed the chrome audi rings and the S4 badge and sprayed the grill. I did it on my B5 S4 as well turned out perfect. It rubber coats it so it doesnt chip. It's only like 3 bucks a can. You only need two cans to do the front

mine are black but I have a couple of chips, there is chrome under the black! It feels and looks just like plasti-dip.
I also black out my grill a couple of weeks ago but I used just some paint, its already chipping. I only did the trim. Can you hook up a closer shot of the whole gril painted?
I might just shoot the whole grill so I dont brake off any trim tabs!
Your car is dead sexy. Cant wait to see the rails and the mirrors done. What about the trim around the windows??
